Vintage Indian Embroidered Wrap-Tie Drape Dress, Indigo & Silver

Indigo shot through with silver a hand-embroidered Indian textile that reads like midnight caught mid-shimmer. Vertical ribbons of metallic thread run the length of the cloth, gathering into scrolling embroidery at the neckline, the whole thing catching light with every turn. A convertible embroidered drape piece that slips over the arms, open through the bust, with a long train that wraps and ties into a skirt. Sourced from a vintage costume-and-prop house in Los Angeles, it carries the theatrical past of something made to be seen.
