GLAYUM Refund & Returns Policy
Every piece at GLAYUM is rare, vintage, or one of a kind: found, not made. Because each item is singular and often carries the beautiful marks of its history, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or offer refunds for change of mind, fit, or buyer's remorse.
We describe and photograph every piece as honestly and thoroughly as we can, including any age-related wear, flaws, or imperfections. Please review the full description and images, and reach out with any questions, before purchasing.
Exceptions
We will consider a refund or replacement — at our sole discretion — only where the fault lies with us, specifically if:
- the item arrives damaged in transit;
- the item is materially not as described (a piece substantively different from its listing, beyond the expected wear of a vintage or antique object); or
- we made an error in fulfilling your order (for example, sending the wrong item).
Expected characteristics of pre-owned, vintage, or antique goods: patina, minor wear, age, small imperfections, and natural variation are part of each piece's character and are not grounds for a refund.
How to Make a Claim
If you believe one of the exceptions above applies, contact us within 3 days of delivery at contact @ glayum.com with your order number and provide clear photographs of the item and its packaging. We will review your claim and respond promptly. If a return is approved, we will provide instructions; items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Approved remedies (refund, replacement, or store credit) are determined at our discretion.
Shipping Costs
Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where the fault is ours. Where we approve a return for our error or a damaged or materially misdescribed item, we will cover return shipping; otherwise, return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. We can only cancel orders that have not yet shipped.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction, which may apply regardless of the terms above.
