A pair of little cobalt teapots that never meant to pour; deep midnight blue against 22k gold, a gilt romantic courting scene glinting like overheard gossip. Each tiny tray waits for a tea bag, ring, a coin.

Genuine Limoges porcelain by R. Raynaud, the French house synonymous with fine hard-paste since the 1760s. Cobalt-and-gold courting ware like this was a Limoges signature through the mid century.

Estimated era: 1950s - 1960s. Roughly 60 to 70 years old, read from the R. Raynaud backstamp, hand-gilt motif and deep postwar cobalt glaze.
