Handmade Japanese Ceramic Cocktail Cups, Black & White Pair

A flirtatious little pair; conical ceramic cups balanced on silver ball feet, one ivory, one inky black. They read as mid-century modern or "atomic age"-influenced studio design. Sake, aperitivo, a single bold pour of something cold; they make a ritual of the smallest drink. Found in Tokyo. Small gold maker's seal on each base.
