Cobalt & Gilt Porcelain Snuff Bottle, Dragon Motif with Spoon

A tiny treasure; deep cobalt porcelain wrapped in a gilt dragon, no taller than a thumb. The domed stopper lifts to reveal a slender attached spoon, the original little ritual intact. Made to be admired.

Chinese snuff bottles were the pocket jewels of the Qing court and after; carried, traded, and collected for the artistry packed into something so small.

Estimated era: 20th century. Reads mid century vintage reproduction in the Qing taste (1644 - 1912), the gilt dragon and spoon stopper place it there.
Dimensions: roughly 2.5" tall.
