Antique Ming Chinese Bronze Hairpin Pair, Swirled Chrysanthemum Medallions

A pair of slender bronze hair sticks crowned with openwork medallions: one a coiling dragon, the other a chrysanthemum rosette. Old metal gone warm and dark, the kind of ornament that turns a coil of hair into something ceremonial.
