A stunner of a dress from a century ago. This 1920s ivory silk wedding gown pours over the body in liquid columns, the bodice fastened with a row of tiny covered buttons, the whole thing soft with age and impossibly romantic. It arrives as a complete trousseau: gown, slip, and veil, a near full bridal story preserved across a hundred springs. To wear it is to borrow someone's once in a lifetime; tender, luminous, unrepeatable.

The 1920s rewrote the wedding dress, trading corseted Victorian volume for the slender, dropped waist ease of the Jazz Age bride. Silk gowns like this, with their covered buttons and bias soft drape, are the survivors of that revolution in femininity. To find one intact with its original slip and veil is genuinely rare; this is wearable history.

"Merry Modes" is a vintage bridal and formal-wear brand known for classic petticoats, slips, and crinolines often worn underneath vintage gowns.

Estimated era: 1920s. Roughly one hundred years old, read from the silk, the construction, the covered buttons, the cut, and knowing the bride.

Materials: appears to be silk (antique silk is delicate by nature, comes in a garment bag).
Features: floor length column gown, covered button closure, comes with matching slip and veil.

Size & fit: best fits XS to S, approximately size 2 to 4.
Gown measurements: Waist 13in, Pit to wrist 20in, Pit to pit 15in, Length 60in, Train 36in.
Bridal slip measurements: crinoline with stretchy waist shaper and lace bottom, Waist 11.5in, Length 40in, Bottom 37in.

Patina note: One of one. Carrying the soft patina that only time can give; significant flaws are always detailed. Very tiny catches in the silk, mostly near the wrists.
