1970s Black Corset Waist Midi Skirt, High Thigh Slit (XS/S)

Black, midi, and built for quality. A corseted waistband holds you in, then the skirt drops into a full, sweeping bell that parts at a high thigh slit if that's what you prefer. It is drama with very good manners; demure from the front, scandalous from the side. The slit can be avoided if you turn the garment slightly.

A 1970s piece (no maker's tag), from the decade that married bohemian to sensuality. The structured corset waist and the dramatic slit are pure period theatre, made for evenings that ran long.
